“Bollywood Nights” is Sin City Bound!
Saint Louis, MO (August 19, 2011) – Sanctuaria, voted as one of Saint Louis’ TOP 10 BEST NEW RESTAURANTS and recently nominated for the WORLDS BEST COCKTAIL MENU for the prestigious Spirited Awards at Tales of a Cocktail is proud to announce that Joel Clark, “Spirits Guide” and bartender at Sanctuaria was the winner of the Saint Louis Regional “Most Inspired Bartender Competition” hosted at Café Napoli on Wednesday evening by GQ Magazine, The United States Bartenders Guild (USBG) and Bombay Sapphire Gin. “Bollywood Nights”, one of Clark’s original creations, was handcrafted using Bombay Sapphire Gin, coconut water, lemon juice and “joelgeat”, his secret syrup. Clark and his winning cocktail will head to Las Vegas in September to compete for the National Title, as well as a feature with his cocktail in GQ Magazine.
The Nation’s Most Inspired Bartender Search is presented by USBG and GQ Magazine. With 36 cities participating, discovering true inspiration is more important than ever. Since cocktails are meant to be enjoyed and shared with others, it will be key to create uniquely approachable recipes. All local market finalists will be featured in the GQ Men of the Year Issue advertorial, and the USBG Bartender Summit sponsored by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada September 11 through 13. The 2011 Most Inspired Bartender will be featured on the cover of the GQ Men of the Year issue, be a guest bartender at the GQ Man of the Year event in Los Angeles and become an honorary Brand Ambassador.
