 Sanctuaria bar staff to compete in the Don Q “2012 Mix It Up Ultimate Mixology Challenge”

 Saint Louis, MO (February 29, 2012) – Sanctuaria, nominated for the WORLD’S BEST COCKTAIL MENU and named the BEST PLACE FOR COCKTAILS by the Riverfront Times, sets themselves apart with their innovative ideas, passion for cocktail knowledge and most importantly – their highly skilled and certified mixology staff.  Matt Seiter, along with Ryan Wilmsmeier and Tim Rabior, will be participating in the “2012 Mix It Up Ultimate Mixology Challenge” this Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Blood and Sand.  Local bartenders will face off with their most noteworthy concoctions. The competition will begin at 2pm and is open to the public with a $25.00 donation at the door.  Light appetizers will be served and all contestants will have “tasting tables” where guests can sample their cocktail entry for the competition.

The Don Q “2012 Mix It Up Ultimate Mixology Challenge” is a multi-staged competition in conjunction with the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG) that offers bartenders a chance to hone their skills in a competitive, yet friendly environment. This year, the St. Louis competition will be a fundraiser to benefit Stray Rescue and the St. Louis Chapter of the USBG. The winner will receive a trip to the Manhattan Cocktail Classic and a spot to compete in the “2012 Mix It Up Ultimate Mixology Finals” in New York on May 12, 2012.
