Sanctuaria shows their support for Speed Rack to help fight breast cancer

Saint Louis, MO (March 8, 2012) – Matt Seiter, bar manager at Sanctuaria, is heading to the Windy City to volunteer at the 2012 Speed Rack Chicago Cocktail Competition on March 18, 2012 at The Bottom Lounge where 20 women from the Chicagoland area will compete in an intense mixology test of speed and accuracy.  The winner will receive a trip NYC to compete in the finals in May.

Not only is Seiter volunteering his services at this years competition, he has organized a fundraiser to raise money for Speed Rack and plans to present a donation on behalf of Sanctuaria upon his arrival. From now until March 15, 2012, Sanctuaria will donate $1 from every glass of housemade punch sold to Speed Rack.  The bar staff was inspired by Seiter’s generousity and is contributing a portion of their tips each night to the donation.

Speed Rack raises money to fight breast cancer by sponsoring national cocktail competitions in which top female bartenders face off in a head-to-head competition consisting of timed, judged mixology challenges.  All proceeds from the event go to breast cancer education, prevention and research.  For additional information, please visit
